Donating Used Clothing and Used Household Goods
Thanks to a partnership between Goodwill Industries and COMPASS Family & Community Services, residents of Sojourner House Domestic Violence Program and Daybreak Youth Crisis Center can use vouchers to shop for FREE clothing and household goods at any local Goodwill store.
Allowing COMPASS program residents to shop at Goodwill gives them the freedom to choose clothing that fits well, suits their style preferences, and boosts their confidence.
Donating gently used clothing and household items to Goodwill also results in meaningful work for the stores’ employees, many of whom have disabilities. COMPASS does not have the space nor the resources to manage these donations at our facilities.
The donation of NEW paper products, toiletries, bedding, towels, and other items from our wishlists are always welcome because they are used immediately and do not require long-term storage.
